Amazing place, we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The service was simply impeccable, the room was wonderful and super cozy, with a great view of the city. The breakfast and location were delicious, 10 minutes from the city center. However, it is highly recommended to have a car, as the property is very high up.
Great spot, you really need a small car to stay here, it's a bit of a ride to La Spezia to eat. Very friendly staff, great view, clean, stylish rooms. Did I mention the great view? Parking a little tight (only a couple spots) bring a small car.
What a view we had after, after (what felt like) driving vertically up the mountain on a 1 way road for 10-15 minutes (better work on your engine braking skills on your way down). Drinking coffee at breakfast on the balcony is really something to experience. They also have a nice restaurant (with a fantastic view of course), just 2-3 minutes further up the road. The service was top notch, the room was clean and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. The location has an amazing view, but gets 4 stars simply for being challenging for horizontal-dwellers like us. Unfortunately bad sound isolation, combined with people enjoying the view with lots of beers outside until late night, meant trying to sleep became frustrating.
