La Trouvaille

We stayed here for a total of six nights and absolutely loved it! The hotel is family-run, which gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Marion and Jean are incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The bungalows are spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy, offering a perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. The view from the property is stunning — a true highlight of our stay. Despite its convenient location, the surroundings are wonderfully quiet, allowing you to fully unwind and enjoy nature. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a charming, peaceful getaway with exceptional hospitality.

Very lovely place to stay while on Mahe! We enjoyed out stay very much here. Very friendly staff allround, super nice welcome-ing/check-in. Everything is absolutely spotless (clean, functional, equipped and usable). The location is in "the middle" of the island, which means that it takes about 5-10min to reach the coast(s) by car. It can also be viewed as pro: it does not matter where you go... So there is not a single bad thing I could say.

Die Bilder die auf Booking sind, spiegeln exakt das Wohnen vor Ort wieder. Die Chalets sind kleine eigenständige Wohneinheiten, die sehr neu und hochwertig ausgestattet sind. Die Matratze ein Traum, lädt zum lang ausschlafen ein. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Bucht, unbezahlbar. Bis auf ein wenig Baulärm, tagsüber, von einer weiter entfernten Baustelle, war es ruhig und man konnte der Natur lauschen. Schlichtweg ein kleines Paradies, wir konnten uns nicht satt sehen. Marion, die Gastgeberin (deutschsprachig) hat den Kühlschrank mit einem kleinen Frühstück für den kommenden Tag bestückt. Dazu gehörte neben Toast, Marmelade, Butter, Frischkäse und Ei, ein großer Obstkorb mit einheimischen Früchten. Die Soursop/Korsol hätten wir sonst nicht probiert, lecker!! Wir hatten überhaupt nicht damit gerechnet und fanden es wirklich nett! Marion war auch zu jeder Zeit für Fragen verfügbar. Ein großer Pluspunkt für uns war die Waschmaschine im Badezimmer, so konnte man abends kurz durch waschen und hatte am nächsten Morgen frische Wäsche. Wenn man etwas bemängeln möchte, dann kann man sagen, dass auf dem Balkon rauchen verboten ist, allerdings wurde eine super schöne Raucherecke geschaffen. Um gut ans Chalet zu kommen, braucht man einen Mietwagen, allerdings ist dieser generell von Vorteil wenn man auf Mahè ist.
