La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc MGallery

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay at La Veranda. 1) The resort offered airport pick up and drop off services and made sure to communicate with us ahead of time regarding flight details. All went very smoothly. 2) The manager welcomed us and provided a very personable walk through of the site that made us feel like home. 3) The breakfast had some good options and we enjoyed the daily soup a lot. 4) Hotel is centrally located - within 10 minutes walk we can get to various shops, market , nail salon and SPAs. 5) The balcony is very private and quiet, good to just spend a couple of hours sitting there and relax. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect, the place, the location, the food, the facilities but what really sets this hotel apart is the service! The staff genuinely understand how to make you feel at home, anticipating your needs with warmth and attention. The thoughtful activities like wine tasting, tea time, and massage lessons are just the cherry on top , all designed to make every guest feel special. The whole place gave me a very colonial feel vibe, the structure of the hotel is nice but that's all. The room itself is rather dark and old. Since they are charging at this rate from customers, they can do some small upgrade for their rooms. They are not very generous with their amenities as well. Is a beach front hotel but they only provide very small bottles of shampoo and shower gel for a family of 3. If your hotel is going to give out complementary services or happy hours ordering. please at least adjust to a longer time. Bar is only open until 10pm. Trees and plants were overgrown and make its difficult for family with small children to walk, the hotel walk way to the pool and dining area is not shelter so is not very safe to walk around during rainy days. The road to the main street from the hotel is very dark and feel kind of unsafe to walk alone. The breakfast portion is small compared to other hotels and selection is limited. Very strict with check out timing. The only good thing is they provide airport shuttle which is one of the reason we booked this hotel. In short, nice building structure for you to take photos and provide shuttle service to airport. not worth the price.
