It's not a hotel, it's a HAVEN! It gives you the impression of being in the comfort of your grandmother's house, but with all the amenities of a 4-star hotel. Breakfast is a feast, which gives you the exact explanation why it is the most important meal of the day. The beer tasting is a MUST, Yvonne is a true "connoisseur" who will give you all the valuable instructions. In addition, there are 3 spectacular hiking trails available to go there, one better than the other... the owners couple are amazing!!!
I would highly recommend this place for someone that wants to really relax as it's a very quiet environment. The room was super clean and beautifully decorated, and we had all the things that one might need (coffee, tea, hair dryer, magnifying mirror etc). Breakfast is optional, and they have snacks and local beers too! The owners were just lovely! Jan is so knowledgeable of the environment and he took the time to show us which routes are the best for hiking. He even gave us suggestions on which museum from WW2 to visit in Luxemburg! We will definitely come back here again!
You need to go across the hall to get to the bathroom. There was a dishwasher with the pods available but he said we need to wash the dishes with our hands, and to heat the water with the kitchen kettle because there is no hot water. Overall, does not meet expectations. No pool available, and no view at all. The host was not accommodating.
