Great value to price. We stayed here for two nights. Room was clean and we had a small balcony. Host was replying fast on WhatsApp and helped us with our baggage. We left two big backpacks for two days after our stay. It was no charge. Incredibly polite and helpful people. If you looking for something cheap and you stay most of the time outside the hotel it’s a good option to consider.

Very nice familly own hotel, clean, safe and cheap. The internet was good and the pool was a nice addition. The staff was very friendly. Its a 15 minutes walk from the beach but that makes it relaxing and quiet at night time. Overall i can recommend.

The La Xenia Hotel Kata Beach is a small hotel, many important locations .. such as the beach, restaurants and shops .. are within easy walking distance. The small rooftop pool is a particularly positive feature, providing a nice change of pace. Unfortunately, there were also some weaknesses. It was often unclear who was actually in charge of the hotel, as there was hardly any visible staff – or if there was, someone else was always at the desk! The rooms weren't cleaned regularly – you had to specifically request it, which was a bit inconvenient. Although guests are required to remove their shoes before entering the hotel, the hallway was often dirty. Particularly noticeable were the many long, dark hairs on the floor, indicating that the hotel wasn't cleaned regularly. On the plus side, I was able to keep my room for an extra night. However, the price directly with the hotel was significantly higher than through Booking.com – a somewhat inconvenient solution. Another nuisance was some noisy guests (particularly of Russian origin), although this isn't the hotel's fault. Overall, a mixed impression – okay for a few nights in a good location, but with significant room for improvement in service and cleanliness.
