Labtwentytwo Barcelona a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Pros: - Really modern, clean rooms with blackout blinds - Housekeeping always remembers to clean and does an amazing job - Beautiful rooftop pool with a restaurant / bar - Friendly, helpful staff - Gym has a squat rack (not a smith machine) - first one I’ve seen in a hotel! - Quiet area, but still walking distance to restaurants and a mall Cons: - Stayed here for 3 days and the fire alarm went off twice 2/3 days 😩 This really disrupted our sleep. - The elevator is super stuffy and hot because it’s in a glass tube - AC would help guests not sweat before leaving the hotel every time.

Minimal but nice hotel. The AC wasn’t working as well as I would have liked but they helped to fix the issue ASAP. In a VERY quiet neighborhood and not much close by. But it’s that your vibe in a relatively chaotic Barcelona, this is your spot. very modern and chic for sure. comfortable beds. The small rooftop pool is a plus!

The location is great. We were not far from center city and other key locations in Barcelona. But the service isn't great. The AC didn't work in our room, something we alerted them about very early when we checked in. When we got back to the hotel, well after midnight, it was too hot to even sleep in the room. The front desk offered to change our room, but it would take time because they were running end-of-day routines, and there were no more staff at the hotel. It was the middle of the night, they wouldn't bring new room keys to us. The gym hadn't been cleaned, didn't have self-clean wipes. The rooftop service was sparse. Our room keys were deactivated several times the day of checkout, despite having late checkout. Not a great experience.
