I stayed at this hotel when the conflict Israel - Iran escalated (June 12th). Despite the circumstances, I genuinely felt so safe with the staff. The hotel has a Mamad with enough water and everything needed to stay in there a while. After three days, the hotel was nearly empty. When it was time for me to leave, the staff arranged a driver to take me to the Egyptian border and even prepared a personal breakfast just for me. I can’t thank the incredible team enough for their support, kindness, and reassuring presence during such a tense time.

Title: A particularly disappointing experience Review: I accidentally ended up at this hotel due to a mix up, and it's safe to say I will never consider returning. The circumstances that led me here were unfortunate - I initially booked another hotel, but it was full, so I was asked to move to this hotel. During my stay at the previous hotel, I had the convenience of enjoying breakfast and dinner. In the evening, when I went to the dining room of this new hotel, the clerk asked for my room number and asked about dinner. I explained that I had been transferred from another hotel and assumed that the same conditions would apply here. The clerk proceeded to set up a table for me and told me to help myself to the food. I started eating as the clerk told me. After about 20 minutes, the clerk informed me that I was not eligible for dinner at this hotel and that I should have dined at the previous hotel (apparently, I was expected to return there without my knowledge). I expressed my surprise and explained that I had no knowledge of this arrangement. It was his responsibility to let me know before he sat me down and encourage me to eat but he didn't. To make matters worse, I must point out that the cleanliness of the room was far from satisfactory. There were noticeable stains on the sofa in the room (picture attached), dusty surfaces and a general unkempt appearance. This added to the overall disappointment of my stay. Feeling frustrated, I decided to approach the front desk to resolve the matter. To my dismay, the same clerk from the dining room followed me and began to lie, denying that he had ever ordered me to eat at the hotel. This put me in a very uncomfortable and humiliating situation as I tried my best to explain that I had no prior knowledge of this arrangement. Unfortunately, the situation degenerated into a loud argument from the front desk staff in front of me, who then demanded an exorbitant *$175* payment for the meal. To put things into perspective, I have dined at some of the most expensive restaurants in the world, and I have never encountered such inflated prices. This hotel should be deeply ashamed of their disrespectful attitude towards their guests. Instead of admitting the mistake the food clerk made, they unfairly put the blame on a guest who ended up setting them up against his will. Given the distressing experience I had, along with the lack of cleanliness in the room, I have no intention of ever returning to this hotel. It is disheartening to see such disregard for guests and their well being. This hotel falls far below the expected standards for a pleasant and pleasant stay.
