Lago Azul Eco Hotel

This is one of the most welcoming places I have been ! It’s wonderfully located with a beautiful, breathtaking view to the blue lake. I loved the decor and ambient; peaceful place but full of alternatives for a great fun alone or with family. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, clean and comfortable. offers free breakfast with a generous choice of food. Had dinner in the restaurant and I must say best alheira I eaten on a very long time. the pool area is well served. The staff was fantastic, client oriented very warm and welcoming, professionals . it’s truly a hide jam. it’s not expensive. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful experience in Lago Azul Eco Hotel! Stunning views and beautiful surroundings, which often leave you speechless! Resort located right on a middle of nature, next to the lake. Especially recommend you to try hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner, very tasty regional food and friendly staff.

I went here for 2 nights for some traveling in the area and to bath in the Zezere river, Castelo do Bode dam. The building seems a bit dated although it looks like it got a recent revamp. The decor is still a bit off my taste, but it's a question of taste. The rooms are ok, with big beds, perhaps a bit oversized for the size of the room. But it has all standard amenities. It seems that all rooms face the beautiful river scenery. And that's the main plus, the location. It's a very pretty area with lots of water sports on offer. Service and staff are nice and pleasant. It took them quite a bit to clean up the rooms, but it may be because of the covid pandemic requirement because it must take longer now to clean the rooms. The bar and restaurant, with service à la carte was nice. The breakfast is reasonable. It has a nice pool and pool area that was a bit crowded while I was there, so I ended up not using it, preferring to bath in the river beaches. It was good value for the buck.
