Lago Resort Menorca Villas & Bungalows del Lago

Paradise found!!! The bungalows are the perfect family getaway for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. The location to the marina is ideal as you have tons of restaurants and bars only a stones throw away. We spent a week enjoying the property, its pool and the relaxing atmosphere. We couldn’t have been happier. Although the bungalows are the only family friendly part of the resort, it worked out perfectly. We didn’t require anything additional. Having a small kitchen allowed us to make meals at home from time to time. The pool is awesome with its little waterfall providing the right amount of white noise. The staff are fantastic! Everyone we encountered was top notch. There is an effort to be ecological as there are chickens on the grounds. Our daughter loved having them around and we were fortunate enough to even sample a few of their eggs when the staff collected them. We will be back without a doubt and look forward to seeing more of the resort, the spa and the other pools that are kid free. Thank you Lago Resort!

We loved our bungalow but think we hit a bad week for peace and quiet. One day especially the whole day we had the gardeners using petrol equipment for about 5 hours. The noise and the smell from the tools they were using was constant. You also had someone repainting the bungalows plus the awnings being replaced with overenthusiastic hammering. I wouldn't have minded but the previous day had been cloudy and would have been the perfect day to do all this but they were nowhere to be seen. Such a shame as I am sure this all could have been done before they opened for the summer. 3 entrances to the complex but either your wrist key didn't work or the gates were left unlocked so security was a bit lacking. That being said the site itself was lovely. No need for the usual towels on Sun beds situation however some of my fellow Brits felt the need to still do this. However if all the bungalows were full I suspect there wouldn't be enough beds to go around. Restaurants around the harbour on the whole were great. Big shout out to el pato. Met as strangers and left as friends, with Spanish lessons thrown in. Don Carlos bar for a few sundowners ended our evening perfectly. Would love to come back but maybe try a villa next time.

We have stayed at the villa bungalows del lago twice now with our children, once 2022 and 2024. The service and staff are amazing and the bungalow is well equipped and stylish but laid back. They have refuarbished since our first trip and all new wooden furniture suits the eco feel. Full visibility of pool from private terrace. If you want a quieter family complex this is perfect. We love it here and will be back again.
