Lagoa Hotel

Recently stayed here while visiting Portugal. Unfortunately when we arrived there were 3 youth football teams staying at the same time so the dining area was busy and the evenings were noisy. Our first night we wanted to dine in the restaurant and were told it was only buffet on (which we assume was done for the football teams) it was a little disappointing and when presented with the €38 bill we were really unhappy. However the staff comped this bill and had upgraded us to the Presidential Suite. The staff were really lovely, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice. The breakfast buffet is superb!!! It’s also close to local places like Carvoeiro, Portimão and Silves. Overall we had a really pleasant stay and I’d wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic six nights bed and breakfast, hospitality the best and beds comfortable, shower and rooms clean and were refreshed daily. Pool fabulous and price great too.

Reception lady was very nice and helpful. Room has big balcony which is very cool. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool, but pool looks nice at the night. Great location. Two things are concerning about stay. The room wifi doesn’t work. We tried three phone and laptop. Room is very hot and AC is not enough powerful to cool all the place. We were sitting front of AC. Haha. Still overall, I had a good time in this hotel. Fluffy pillow and nice bed, good shower. Paid 150€ per night. Thanks.
