We had a bungalow with a sandy beach nearby, quiet and pleasant. Kids played on the beach. Just a place to unwind. Highly recommended. The only downside is that you're not allowed to grill, which is a shame.

In my opinion, the amenities and condition don't justify the price, but the location and access from the house to the private beach are fantastic. The service was good, but the Wi-Fi didn't work, and even after repeated notifications, the problem couldn't be resolved for two days.

More value for money; for the price, you'd expect more amenities. In the dining area, our apartment had a wobbly dining table and an uncomfortable wooden bench for seating 4 and 5. The armchairs in the living area are beyond uncomfortable. The kitchen and living room offer less storage space. It's understandable that not everything is 100 percent clean. However, there were a lot of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in many corners of the living-dining room. These are also a thing. What's also not nice is that the apartment is cleaned with a broom that has seen better days. If you have a direct beach, it's unavoidable that sand will be dragged into the apartment. Now, I'll take the side of dog owners: I see it as dogs going into the water and then being brought back into the apartment wet. If it's your apartment, you can certainly do that as a dog owner. In terms of cleanliness and hygiene, this isn't the solution. When pulling out of the parking space or taking a walk, you should be careful in front of the house. Road cyclists can blast down the mountain from the east into the Bretten complex at full throttle. Putting up a sign here wouldn't help; perhaps it would be better to erect a barrier where people have to dismount. Regarding the amenities, if you want your coffee hot, the cheap coffee machine isn't for you. The oven only has top and bottom heat. Also not included in the price is the air conditioning, which can be booked if needed. The same applies to the poor Wi-Fi, which can be upgraded to 5G for an additional charge. What's positive about this: - Quiet location for relaxing - Sauna available in the Family Plus room Yes, unfortunately, that's all it is. Even though the complex is already 10 years old, there were better solutions and perceived quality at the time of planning and installation.
