Decent breakfast variety with mostly friendly staff. Rooms are all very nicely furnished with great coastal views but beware the hill to get to the accommodation. I would recommend waiting for the shuttle bus to go in and out of town rather than walking in the scorching heat of the day. The pool is also too small for the number of guests when the hotel is at capacity. Other than that it was a great stay.

Stayed July 2014 for 4 nights, and it was excellent from the start to the boarding of the transfer coach to return to the airport. The front desk staff were great, as were the restaurant staff. I notice comments about the steep hill. Well, yes, the resort is on a hill, and the hill IS steep, but most of those comments were very unfair criticism of the resort, because the resort runs a continuous shuttle bus. So you do not even have to traverse the hill on foot, if you don't want to, unless you get caught out of the bus hours. But really, the hill climb is do-able. The food was very good. The views are fabulous, and the town centre is quite handy, especially with the shuttle. The resort is in a wonderful setting. And I do not think the room rates are excessive. Ten out of ten for me!

A gorgeous resort with a great view! We loved the infinity pool! Staff were great - in particular Mike at the front desk, who was so welcoming and helpful! The apartment was very comfortable and we loved the huge in-room spa! Highly recommended as a base for exploring the stunning Whitsundays!
