It is nice. Breakfast very little thing to eat. Maybe all Africa same in case of breakfast menu. Hotel is generally nice. Good Nile river view. Rooms are very wide. Price is acceptable

How do they get a 5 star rating is beyond me. It must have been from opening weeks, and pics on the net are probably dated then as well. Its definitely over priced, although there was a good price from the ney. Facility is well built, but I dont think any furniture upgrade, paint , major cleaning have been done in years. Breakfast is horrible, didn't feel facility is clean enough to eat there. Carpet in many areas are long long long overdue to be changed. Staff is very friendly, made it ok to spend the days there. From the people opening the doors, to the front desk, to the bar area, to the room s cleaning crew personal , everyone was friendly n very willing to help. Lots of potential being wasted in the facility, there is a true lack of management there. The stars are for the staff, and the location, the view in the room as hotel is located right on the niger river. If you are looking for a place to enjoy, this is not it, for business you may manage for just few days.

Not sure why this place has 5 star rating. The only 2 good things about this hotel is location and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is unclean, carpet dates perhaps from 20 years, dirty , smells, hotel needs MAJOR face lift, food for breakfast is a joke, once reached to restaurant I order then stop eating because I'm saying if hotel is so poor on maintenance I dont trust the food prep either. We stayed in a suite, besides the size nothing is worth it there. We were there for a short 3 days otherwise would have gone to another. But staff made every effort to make the days pleasant. 2 stars one for location one for the staff.
