Laico Lake Victoria Hotel

I would like to thank Ellie, Sylivia and Godwin for their excellent service at the hotel. I've been a guest many times here and they always make me feel at home. Wish all the best in their careers and hope to see them promoted soon.

A hotel that would need some renovation since it was build many decades ago. The location is absolute nice with a huge pool and a nice big garden. Very good to relax. The rooms need some attention. My air-condition didn't work and even after the third time requesting repair it still wasn't fixed. The curtains should be washed as well and the safe was not functional. The breakfast was good, but no cheese, no ham, no Joghurt was available. Beside that the breakfast was good. Personnel is friendly.

Hotel was great but can’t recommend the restaurant. Although their guacamole was really good. We ordered tilapia fillets and after waiting for nearly an hour went to ask where the food was. The food had apparently been ready and prepared for a long while but forgotten about. It was then microwaved to warm it again and served to us. Could only eat a few bites. Also the dish they made was a whole tilapia instead of the fillet we ordered, which on top of everything cost more than the fillet even though we didn’t order it.
