Lake Cottages at Cwm Chwefru

Absolutely amazing stay. Beautiful surroundings, plenty to keep the kids amused and cottages were clean and equipped with everything we needed. Amy was extremely helpful. We hired the bistro for one night as we had five cottages between us all and it was absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to come back!!

We recently stayed at Lakeside Cottages and I can honestly say it’s just wonderful. The grounds are very well kept and are a joy to explore. It’s extremely peaceful and walking around the lake with the children was lovely. We saw so much wildlife on our way around, a shame the ducks weren’t about this time though! We had a children’s party booked on the Saturday and Amy was great in helping us organise this. Our 9 year old son has said it’s his best birthday party to date! The swimming pool was amazing and the kids had the best time celebrating. We then went to the bistro upstairs where they enjoyed party food- it was really handy having our own private kitchen there to prepare food and leave cool whilst we partied. All in all, the accommodation was fab- we had everything we needed and will definitely be returning.

A Perfect Getaway – Tranquility, Luxury, and Stunning Views We recently stayed at beautiful The Lake Cottages , and couldn't have asked for a more perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warm and welcoming staff as well as the incredible views that surround the property – rolling hills, lush greenery, and a sense of total peace and tranquility. The cottage itself was spotless, with exceptional attention to detail in every corner. From high-quality furnishings to thoughtful touches throughout, it’s clear the owners take great pride in offering a high standard of accommodation. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The facilities on-site were just as impressive. The swimming pool and sauna were a real treat – clean, warm, and perfect for families. We also made good use of the tennis court and enjoyed a few games in the well-equipped games room. Our Children were kept entertained with the fantastic playground, and a gentle walk around the lake spotting all of the beautiful wildlife. This cottage offers the perfect blend of luxury and comfort in a serene, rural setting. Whether you're looking to relax, explore the beautiful Welsh countryside, or enjoy quality time with family, this place has it all. We’ll definitely be returning – highly recommended!
