Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant

This hotel is amazing, it has been on my bucket list for 29 years. It did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful, we enjoyed listening to the rain on the metal roof and listening to the birds chirping in the morning. The breakfast was wonderful, it was nice to have complimentary coffee and tea available on each level. The staff was very friendly. The location feels remote but is also close to trails, waterfalls and shopping and restaurants in Clayton. Recommendation: If you have dinner in the dining room, it is a good idea to bring a sweater. There were floor air vents on each side of our table so it was very cold and it was not possible to move. We cannot wait to go back with friends and family next time.

I loved it here! So nice and clean! What a great place to chill out and take a breather! Staff was excellent. Food was absolutely amazing!! I requested a candle for my dinner and was promptly given one. Coffee and water are always available. Very rustic, and dim lit, but I loved that. The staff is very accommodating. My only complaint the entire time I stayed was, this kid was beating on that piano in the lobby while I was trying to sleep. It wasn’t anything the hotel could help.

I had dinner this evening at the Lake Rabun Hotel Restaurant, it was delicious and the service impeccable. I had the pork chop with mashed potatoes and broccolini with pineapple upside down cake for dessert. All perfectly cooked and the cake took me back to my grandmother's house. It was a first-rate meal!
