I have not stayed in the rooms here, but I have seen them and I do plan to stay here soon. What I would like to review is the food. My husband and I always drive by this place and they have cultural dancers in the courtyard every evening. I kept thinking that we should come and check it out. So last month we did. I ordered a simple Indian Dal and I can't stop thinking about it!!! It was so incredibly good. The prices were very reasonable too. It seems like they would be set up well for large groups or a dinner date for 2. Watching the dances was fun, but the food was the main attraction. If you are staying here in the hotel, don't think that you need to go outside to find good food. I highly recommend this place!
Think twice before booking this hotel. While the room itself was good and met expectations, the overall service experience was extremely disappointing—definitely not what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. When I tried to order food, I was told by a waiter that the kitchen was undergoing cleaning and they couldn’t serve anything. Later, I asked the front desk for a wine opener, and they seemed completely unaware. I then approached the restaurant, only to be told they don’t provide such items at all. For a hotel of this supposed standard, this was quite frustrating. Even basic requests were either ignored or falsely promised—they would say “we’ll send it” but never followed through. The front desk was quick to negotiate prices, yet they lacked even the most basic customer service skills. The worst part of my stay was breakfast. Shockingly, I found a bug in the food. When I informed the waiter, he simply smiled and removed it—as if it were no big deal. If you plan to eat there, I strongly advise you to check your food carefully. Overall, a very poor service experience that overshadowed an otherwise decent room. I would not recommend staying here based on the service alone.
The place looks great with beautifully located from the busy road of Town yet close to the lake. The reason I’m giving only 1 star because I felt the hotel was understaffed. We were checked in a room and had to change our room again because they say it’s under maintenance and we were led to our other room by a security guard..It just didn’t feel right. Don’t feel welcoming. The room service was slow. The worst part was we had bus early in the morning and we had to leave early before the breakfast time and we were given a packed breakfast. The breakfast was just not what we had expected from such established hotel. Just plain toast (no butter nor jam) and some fruits. The orange was rotten as well.. u can see from the picture. (If I can rate solely for the property I would be generous enough to give 4 stars. )
