Lake Vyrnwy is absolutely stunning. A truly picturesque spot that’s perfect for a relaxing visit. The views across the lake are breathtaking, especially from the hotel, which sits in a prime position overlooking the water. The hotel itself is charming, with a lovely atmosphere and outdoor seating that makes the most of the scenery. Drinks are reasonably priced, which is a pleasant surprise given the location, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Whether you're just stopping by for a drink or staying longer, the experience is relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended for the views alone!
We have just returned from our 2 night minimoon and it was exactly what we needed. We had a lake view with a balcony which gave us spectacular views and the weather meant we could relax and enjoy them! Our dog was made to feel extremely welcome and room 3 was ideally placed so we could take him out for a walk in the grounds really easily. The breakfast trays are a fab idea on the tables in addition to the cooked breakfasts. We used room service as well as the restaurant and on both occasions the evening meals were delicious. Access to the spa was also included in our package so I got to use the steam room, sauna and spa pool. Thank you for an amazing stay.
Friendly, helpful and professional team offering a warm welcome to pleasant surroundings. The food was good on first night, but not quite up to scratch on the second, as with breakfast on our final morning. However every chef deserves a day off and it is important to encourage other members of the team to develop their skills. We will certainly return later this year, and enjoy our stay in this beautiful part of Wales. Well Done the Team
