Lakehouse Inn

This was our second stay at the Lakehouse Inn. Our first visit was last summer and we vowed to return because it was such a positive experience. We were welcomed with an option of sangria or a lime drink with delicious brownies while they went over some guidelines for our stay. A bottle of wine was included with the room. The beds are extremely comfortable and the place is very quiet. My wife and I slept very well. The staff was friendly and helpful and in the morning the owner stopped by at breakfast to introduce himself and ask how our stay was. Breakfast was delicious and we ate it on the back porch by beautiful, serene Laurel Lake. Speaking of the lake, I highly recommend spending time there. Last year we went kayaking and paddle boarding. We didn’t have time for that this year, but we did enjoy a nice cup of tea while relaxing by the lake. We will be visiting the Northeast again next summer and we hope to be back again. Thanks to the owner and staff for providing such a wonderful space and experience.

We enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay at the Lakehouse Inn. The hotel was lovely - rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, starting with Kurt, the owner/manager, who made us feel completely at home. The lake access is truly the highlight - beautiful and right at the Inn’s doorstep, with complimentary kayaks and paddle boards readily available. Breakfast was delicious, and enjoying it on the scenic lake-view patio was the perfect way to start each day. The location is ideal - charming Lennox is just a 3-minute drive away with excellent restaurants and nearby hiking trails available. We highly recommend the Lakehouse Inn for anyone seeking a truly peaceful, relaxing lakeside getaway experience!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This is a hidden gem, secluded yet so close to everything. Located right on the lake where you can access the water and enjoy the views from the big front porch. The staff is friendly and personable always ready to assist. My room was on the 3rd floor and had everything I needed, including a complimentary bottle of wine. Big shower and very comfortable bed. I didn't have time to stay for breakfast but it looked amazing. I will stay here again on my next visit to The Berkshire.
