Lakes Resort Toukley

We arrived at the resort and were greeted by the most friendly receptionist. He directed us to our rooms and handed us our keys. Without hesitation, he offered us room upgrades to enhance our stay. We gladly accepted, and we couldn't be more pleased with the decision! Our rooms were stunning, with breathtaking views, and the location was ideal. We had an incredible time, and we're so grateful for the generous upgrades that made our experience even more memorable.

I would never stay here again. The website and the prices charged are not an accurate representation of the quality of the rooms at all. Furnishings and fittings are very old, mismatched and in some cases not fit for purpose. Pans with broken handles, no knives. The mattresses have completely collapsed and one of the beds was practically unusable - the side had completely sunken. Each bed had only one sheet and one blanket, pillow cases were dirty - not stained - literally soiled and clearly not replaced from previous stays and a couple of dead cockroaches laying around too! A used dishcloth was the only thing supplied in the kitchenette and we requested it be replaced - not done! The screen doors were off their runners, a blind had completely fallen off the window, and one bathroom practically flooded with every shower as there was no curtain or screen. The icing on the cake was the used condom under one of the beds. Impossible to speak with anyone who works there as reception hours are very limited and I have since tried 4 times to call to discuss the issues and have either had a promise of a callback or no one answers. DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMODATION!

Really disappointed with my experience during the weekend stay. I wish to provide a feedback on the following issues encountered by us: 1. Constant humming noise from the air conditioner throughout the time it was turned on 2.Power Point to which the aircon was connected was broken and there was risk of short circuit 3.No wardrobe, hangers, or anything else to hang clothes 4.No bin liner in the bins 5.Only 1 wine glass provided 6. No cleaning cloth or sponge provided 7. Sink not draining water properly and blocked 8.No soap for shower and as only (7) 15mls plastic tubes of shampoo/conditioner were provided. I had to buy soap for shower 9. Nobody in reception desk and when you ring the number it goes to voicemail. Poor customer service 10.Was supposed to get complimentary wine and chocolate. A verry poor quality $4 bottle of wine was provided and no chocolates were supplied despite requests 11.Drunken guests shouting and yelling at 1.00AM in the morning affecting sleep 12. No replacement fresh linen and towels were provided 13. The shower room very small and when you opened the bathroom door it got blocked by wash basin behind so door did not open properly 14 Plastic shower curtains so when we took shower water came on to the floor outside the shower
