Lakeshore Hotel Hualien

Our best hotel in our whole Taiwan trip. Their customer service is helpful and responsive. We loved their breakfast. It was a mix of different variety although it should also change menu everyday so to experience new set of breakfast meal when staying for more than 1 night. Our room was really spacious and the bathtub was big. No toiletries so we had to buy in 7-11. Their toilet is not Toto but it’s also automatic. Would have been better if it was rainfall shower too ;)

Double king size bed was amazing..room was super spacious. Bathroom has bathtub, japanese closet. 7/11 just across the road. Breakfast incredible, jaw drop ...m More than 30 dishes to choose. They even provide CRAB for breakfast. Dinner was amazing.

Is this a 5 Star hotel? Not quite there yet! Something is missing. The room is really small. Not sure why the balcony is taking up that much space since most of us won't make use of the mosquito invasive balcony. There's a tub and a separate standing shower room. Compare to the room, the bathroom is huge which I really like it! Insulations were not there. I could hear noises coming both from the street and the hallway. It might help with a ocean view room if the price difference is not a whooping NT $2400! I made my trip to the gym. There were 2 treadmills, 2 climbing stairs and 1 stationery bike. Weight lifting dumbbells were also available. Towels were not available. We paid NT$660 extra for the breakfast/brunch buffet. Of which is served from 6:30am till 13:30 daily. You will find food with local fusions, Taiwanese ways of preparation and western fresh bread and salad Staff are friendly and helpful. I stayed in Lakeshore hotel at a different location. The Brand does hold certain credentials, however, something is missing!
