Lakeshore Hotel Hualien Taroko

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was wonderful. Cozy bed, gorgeous view. Great breakfast!

We all had a great three days here. The room is clean and tidy and the service staff is friendly. The hotel's dinner and breakfast are all delicious, with more choices. There are no shops around. I would suggest that if you need to buy something, go to the city and buy it before coming back. There are several things in the hotel that can be improved………. 1: There are two large windows in the bathroom but having to step into the bathtub to reach the curtain cord is inconvenient and adds to the danger. Maybe add an electric switch. 2: Breakfast and restaurant are in other buildings, which is inconvenient without any covered connection when it rains. 3: When checking out,(10:30am) it was strange to find that the housekeeping staff also used the same elevator as the guests, because guests with luggage could not enter the elevator at all. I even heard other guests complaining that they could not enter the elevator after waiting five times. Isn’t there something good about the design? This is so weird and really needs to be improved.

The hotel we stayed in primarily consists of rooms, requiring guests to go to another building for breakfast, the swimming pool, and sauna facilities. Additionally, there is no gym, but cycling equipment is available near the swimming pool. The breakfast was satisfactory, leaning towards Taiwanese style cuisine. However, the hotel's location is somewhat inconvenient, as it is a distance from the city center. Overall, my stay was satisfactory.
