Located in a residential area so no shops or restaurants in walking distance but not too far by car. The room was clean but honestly the TV in the room was a bit small in this digital era. However there was a HDMI connector right beneath the TV so I could connect my laptop easily, a small adjustment but a good one to mention. Shower was strong and hot enough, and the tub was clean. The breakfast was ok, but not as good as the other branch hotels that we have been to. The breakfast was available until one PM but I think that’s partly due to the size of their dining area not enough to accommodate those many guests.

Great place for a family. Clean. Service was good. Buffet breakfast had a good spread with pretty decent quality. Location, however was a little secluded. If you have a car, then no issue. Taxis were easily available to and from the hotel as well. Only issue is

Decent rooms in a far away location but service is severely lacking. We had a boat to catch early the next day and made it known that we had to have early breakfast. On the morning itself there was a long queue getting into the restaurant for breakfast, and when we reached the end of the line the waiter turned us away saying "come back later as the tour group inside had to leave early". Seriously? We also had a boat to catch. When we clarified that we already informed the concierge previously he reluctantly let us in without even an apology. It gets better. We left behind a pair of spectacles and only found out when we were about to leave Taiwan. Called in and they mentioned that they found it in the room. However to my surprise they said they had no access to the post office (?) and couldn't do overseas mail. We even offered to pay for the overseas courier fees but they refused. So we just told them to dispose of it. I've left items in previous hotels before and they did not hesitate to pay for the courier fee back to my home country. This hotel flat out refused to send mail outside of Taiwan. I've never encountered such inflexibility from a hotel before.
