An exceptional 2-night stay at Lakeside Hotel & Conference Centre. Lovely clean room, modern bathroom, comfortable bed and a beautiful view that makes you feel like you are well out of Sydney from the window. You don’t need much more than that! Complimentary guest laundry room which was a pleasant surprise! Overall a cost effective, lovely stay which will be our regular now. Thank you for having us!
Very good value room which is well appointed, clean and comfy bed. Mini bar prices are $4 for anything from can or packet of chips to chocolate. So bring your own, fridge holds a reasonable amount. Ideal for business users looking for a place to stay for a quiet night whilst working in the area. It has an on-site restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner at pretty reasonable prices. These are the rooms for an conference centre primarily so ideal if having a conference or course on the grounds.
Stayed here as it was very convenient, and also had a great experience 10 years ago. Parking was good and free. The staff were great. The room was clean and well decorated. Shower was good - nice hot water. The bed, however, was another story! The mattress was failing big time. It was very soft as the springs had collapsed. They squeaked with every movement. The bed should have been replaced years ago! Also the a/c decided to drop a ball bearing in the fan at around 5.45 am, so had to turn it off. Meant that the room became very stuffy quite quickly.
