Lakeside Loughrea

Right by a little inlet that local swans and ducks frequent. Ursula is a local legend in her own right and runs a tight ship! Wonderfully appointed and clean rooms!!! Always hot water, tea/coffee/milk available. A perfect spot for a short or long stay. Book early!!!

Stayed for 1 night with my 10yr old. Location appears to be nothing on arrival as Lane to it is directly off the street, however it is stunning with direct access to the lake. Beautiful garden with patio table and chairs. Rooms Compact but comfortable Bed is very comfortable Spotless Tea and coffee facilities excellent Hosts Exceptional is the only word..friendly, welcoming with loads of tips on where to eat ect, nothing too much trouble Definitely would stay again

My wife and I stayed at Lakeside, Barrack Street, Loughrea on the night of Friday 19th August, 2022. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with a small fridge in the adjoining hallway for each room. The shower and toilet were immaculate. There are private parking facilities at Lakeside. The lake is literally at the end of the garden and there is access to the lake from the rear garden. The garden is well maintained and very private with a beautiful view of the lake. The proprietor, Ursula, was most welcoming, courteous, friendly and helpful. We got excellent value for money with good accommodation and facilities. Breakfast is not supplied but there are ample restaurants in the immediate environs of Lakeside. We had a very pleasant experience at Lakeside and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to Loughrea. Highly recommended. Thomas J. Murphy
