The resort personnel/workers were VERY helpful. The only thing was the construction next to the resort. It was our alarm clock in the a.m. I understand it's not their problem but, the location was good & the fishing was okay. A lot of stairs around so, you'll get your steps in, exercise. They had good accommodations for all to enjoy.
Our stay was great. Rooms were clean updated. The bad part about the location is that it is right by the highway so you get a lot of highway noise. Also, I didn't really appreciate the condo handing out a flyer at the beginning of the week with last names, room numbers, and state of residence to EVERYONE staying at the condo that week. I like more privacy than that. Otherwise, great service and nice place to stay.
We are incredibly disappointed with Lakewood Resort at Lake of the Ozarks customer service. We have sent two emails to all the addresses on their website requesting a timeshare contract cancellation. Despite our repeated attempts, no one has gotten back to us. This lack of response is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would not recommend this resort to anyone considering a timeshare here.
