Lakey Peak Hotel Tomo

If your a surfer or just a partner tagging along this is the perfect place to stay. My partner and I have never felt so welcome to this little pocket of oasis. Excellent customer service was given on arrival at Denpasar airport where a stress free pick up and drive to hotel was organised by the owner of Lakey Peak Haven (they use a reliable company called World Surfaries). The owner of Lakey Peak went out of his way to book us a nice comfortable hotel to stay at for the night right near the airport as our connecting flight to Bima was too soon to make. Assistance was given by booking our flights to Bima and return to Bali as well. Pick up from Bima airport to drive to Lakey Peak was also organised stress free. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Michael, his wife and his lovely kids. We stayed in the surf shack- comfortable, clean, good aircon and has an inviting beach/surf vibe. Pool area was clean and inviting. I forget his name but the cleaner that works so hard everyday to keep the place looking awesome ! What surprised me was the awesome food ! Michael’s Wife can seriously cook and you won’t be disappointed (especially that Beef Rendang). Convenient 2 trips a day to any of the surf locations nearby, an awesome guy called Moose will drive you there. While not surfing there is the main shack area to relax, grab a cold one and watch the footy or surfing on the tv. Washing facilities are available and can be done within a day. Upon leaving Lakey Peak we were still looked after with a car ride back to Bima airport- pick up right at the door. Even in Bali on our way home a organised pick up to go to a hotel for a days rest was organised. This place goes above and beyond to look after you. Can’t thank you guys enough. This trip was planned 6 months ago with excitement. Harry got to tick off a bucket list surf destination but it wouldn’t have been this awesome if we hadn’t stayed at Lakey Peak Haven. Thank you to Michael, his wife, 3 children, the awesome cleaner, Moose and anyone else I might be forgetting for such an awesome trip. Will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at Lakey Peak Haven in Sumbawa, and it was an awesome trip! From the moment I arrived, I felt at home thanks to the warm hospitality and laid-back vibe of this incredible place. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and designed with surfers in mind. The rooms are spacious, with great A/C, and the outdoor areas offer views over the waves. Waking up and checking the surf from the balcony was unreal. Lakey Peak itself is a world-class wave, and the location of the Haven couldn’t be better. The owners were super helpful with surf advice, transport, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Plus, the food was top-notch—healthy, delicious, and exactly what you need after long sessions in the water. If you are chasing perfect waves and looking to unwind in paradise, Lakey Peak Haven is the spot. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you Michael and Made for taking such good care of us.

Lakey Peak Haven is an absolute no brainer for your next trip to Lakey peak. Michael, Made, Risky and the kids looked after us like we were family. The location is unreal, nice and quiet a short scooter or car ride from the beach with great views of Lakey peak, pipe and Nungas. Accomodation was cosy and air-conditioned. The food was top notch, a delicious mix of Indonesian and western dishes in MASSIVE portion sizes perfect after a day of surfing. Loved the whole experience, will be back for sure!!
