Laki Hotel & Spa

Nice and chilled atmosphere. Checked in early and staff are more than happy to call taxis to take you into Ohrid. Nice pool and bar area. Staff were somewhat rude and unaccomodating. Pool closes at 8pm and the spa closes at 8pm also (opens late - 11am). Food was reasonably priced and ok. Starters are apparently not starters hovever they're the size of main meals. Rooms were clean and spaceous but there was an issue with shower drainage and the aircon didn't seem to work (it was 30⁰ outside in all fairness to the hotel). I feel more could have been done given "spa" status to help us relax.

We went there for a wedding in January The spa and indoor pool were out of operation. The room we had, had a great view over the lake, there were not tea or coffee facilities in any on the rooms very poor house keeping service. The receptionist with the long blondish hair was very rude, the blond barmaid was very rude too. A number of the wedding guests including us felt like the bar staff were ripping us off every time we went to the bar. The wedding it’s self was amazing Would I go and stay there again no

This hotel was a disappointment. Incompetent, unpolite staff, for example if you order a bottle of wine they bring you a smaller one but the price remains the same! Also a poor variety of food, careless done breakfast and dinner buffet. No proper wifi at the whole hotel area, the room was only partly cleaned during our stay. All together not good enough for a four stars hotel even thought the room furnishing and facilities are essentially good.
