Good place for an escape from the city, service was great. Top notch concierge and front desk service. Brief through the room and facilities. Dinner was good and the waitress were happy and helpful. Well upkeep facilities and the view worth every single dime.
Not a Marriott Bonvoy, but damn if it don’t slap. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially at dawn with the mist off Sun Moon Lake. An in-room Hot Spring water draw bathtub. Hell yes. Service is beyond 5 Star. My original room had an issue with the power blinds and I had to raise that issue knowing the sun would beam me in like 5 hours of bedtime given the angle of the windows. The result? Presidential Suite (or close to it) upgrade. Granted, off season, and YMMV, but that’s serious customer service. Would definitely return in the future. A++
The view from my room was excellent, but what truly made my trip to Sun Moon Lake unforgettable was the outstanding service at The Lalu. Every staff member we encountered was thoughtful, attentive, and responsible. They provided clear guidance on the hotel’s facilities and shared helpful information for exploring the area. Their hospitality really enhanced our experience.
