Lovely Chambres d'hotes, near the old center of Troyes with own parking space. Very warm welcome, nice lady of the house, good french breakfast with homemade marmelade. Big, clean room.
A nice B&B ran by attentive staff. The location is quite central and within a ten minute walk from the city center. We booked two rooms and the equipment level differed a lot between them. One had a huge bathroom whereas the other only had a small broken shower. For visitors in the summer it is important to note that the rooms do not have airconditioning and especially the rooms on the top floor can heat up quite a bit. Breakfast is good and served on time by a friendly waitress.
I will like to say that I’m satisfied with the service, but unfortunately I find the relation price-quality really disappointed. To start, the reception service work just in French, something that is very problematic when you don’t speak the lenguaje. The room was ok, small and very clean, but unfortunately really really noise. Breakfast was ok and fresh. The location is 5 min away from center. In resume, I won’t come back.
