Me and my Partner love quiet places! This place was just pure peace and quiet! Room was gorgeous! Bed was also comfy, Had lovely tea and coffee selection in the room! Bathroom was clean and done out lovely too. Accidentally left one of my things there and they’re sending it back to my home. Owner such a lovely talkative man! WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent value for money. It certainly exceeded our expectations. The continental breakfast was brilliant. Our room had French doors onto the front patio with an outstanding view. The staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The best about this Hotel is the excellent service from Niamh. We had a warm welcome & valuable advice about places to visit & the bus timetables etc. The Hotel has seen better times but at least the bedroom was clean & tidy. The bathroom was adequate & we did have a quiet & decent night's sleep. The breakfast was very basic but at least I had a yoghurt, some fruit & good coffee. I also enjoyed having my takeaway fish & chips on their outdoor terrace. I found the location great so although it's a good 45 minutes level distance walk along the main road you can get there or travel by train or bus too. In addition, it's next to a historic Church & near to the beautiful Palace ruins. Things to improve are invest more in improving the installations & dealing with any periodic odours associated with the drainage. Also, the pedestrian side entrance which gains access to railway station should be reinstated.
