Landgoed Westerlee

We were pleasantly surprise with this hotel. It was our last stop on our bikepacking around Netherlands before returning to Germany. The hotel is very charming and i could imagine this is a perfect place to host wedding ceremony and party. They have an outdoor building not attached to the main building where one can do their own private event there. I really like how they refurbish an old farming house into a hotel. They have some history of the hotel in the reception but i dont speak Dutch. Our room was very spacious with 2 beds inside. The jacuzzi is nice and you can get a bath bomb at the reception. The car park is behind the main building and so as the bicycle. The breakfast start at 7 and has a modest selection

I recently spent a delightful weekend at Hotel Resort Landgoed Westerlee and highly recommend it. Nestled in a historic manor in the picturesque Oldambt region, the hotel combines luxury with rustic charm. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, featuring amenities such as a welcoming drink upon arrival, free Wi-Fi, and a two-person Jacuzzi. The wellness area offers a sauna, providing a perfect retreat for relaxation. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, offering a wide selection to start the day. The on-site restaurant serves exquisite French cuisine, making dining a memorable experience. The only minor downside was some road noise, but it didn’t significantly impact the overall experience. Overall, Hotel Resort Landgoed Westerlee is an excellent choice for a getaway, offering comfort, historical ambiance, and top-notch amenities.

For us it was just a location for a day away. But a very nice place to stay. Very friendly staff. Nice to walk through the fruit tree garden. Lots of different plumbs, which were very nice. They forgot the promised 'prosecco', but easily recognised their mistake and gave one when we left. Nice place. Clean and spacious rooms. No trouble recommending it for a very nice place to stay for a few nights. Qua location- for a place in the North of the Netherlands, no better or worse than any other place. Don't expect beautiful views.
