Landgut Stemmen

An excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings! The rooms are elegant and clean with comfortable beds. The food is very good and the staff are very friendly. I truly recommend this hotel!

Charming Stay with a Few Bumps We recently stayed at the Landgut Stemmen hotel nestled in a beautiful small village, and overall, our experience was delightful. The location is simply perfect, offering a beautiful atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed a lovely evening in the hotel restaurant, which followed a short, pleasant stroll around the village. The dinner was really good, with a menu that catered well to our tastes. The breakfast buffet the next morning was another highlight. There was a wide variety of options, all fresh and delicious, setting us up for the day ahead. However, there was one downside to our stay. Due to the lack of air conditioning, we had to keep the window open at night. Unfortunately, this led to a significant influx of mosquitoes, and we ended up with quite a few bites. It was a bit uncomfortable and marred an otherwise wonderful experience. Despite this, we would still recommend the hotel, especially for its location and dining experiences. Just be sure to bring some insect repellent if you're staying during warmer months!

Unfortunately this stay did not live up to expectations. We did not see a single staff member during our stay. We had no way of asking basic questions about food options or the sauna. We were not able to eat on the first night as we arrived after 8pm (the restaurant was not open and there was no one around to ask for help.) Once we finally found the sauna the next morning, it did not work. It was a very poor experience, I do not recommend.
