We stayed at this hotel at the end of July/beginning of August, two families with children. We had a wonderful time, both with the organization and the hotel's location. We relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the sauna. But what we loved most was the kindness and professionalism of all the staff (a special mention goes to Hasna, who was always smiling and kind to the children, who loved her from day one). The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend it!
What can I say... my husband and I spent 5 days on vacation with our 6-month-old baby, super equipped in every way... A wonderful place, beautiful hotel with a wonderful pool (unfortunately the only shame was the water was cold), the food is beyond reproach, getting better every day, breakfast and dinner always top notch, and finally, not to mention the service, everyone was very kind, helpful, and excellent, from the room service, information receptionist to the dining room staff, the waitress Silvia was super nice and kind, but especially the impeccable waitress Hasna was exceptional!!! We will definitely be returning! I highly recommend everyone to go there! A hug to all the hotel staff! See you soon!!
I stayed at the Landhaus Hotel Kristall from July 2nd to 7th, 2025. This 4-star hotel, located 350 meters above sea level, not far from Merano, does not have air conditioning. When booking, I assumed that a 4-star hotel in an area like Marlengo, which has been particularly hot in summer for several years, would have air conditioning, just as I would assume that a 4-star hotel at 2,000 meters would have heating, but unfortunately I had to surrender to the heat. Luckily, our suite was on a corner, so we could "cool" the large windows and keep a small, but noisy, fan running. I was very surprised that this hotel also had informational signs in the rooms and sauna area exclusively in German. We are in Italian territory, even though we are in South Tyrol, and bilingualism (which I envy) should also be present on hotel information, in addition to having an English translation. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a private bathroom. Separate bathroom and shower room with double sink, but strictly no bidet or shower head. The TV (43 inches), but not a smart one. Fortunately, the food was good and the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful, even speaking excellent Italian. Next time, before booking, I'll try to learn more about the hotel's features and amenities without taking anything for granted.
