Landhaus Marienstein

Nice hotel, modernized rooms, good kitchen. No public restaurant, only for guests.

I stayed here on a business trip. When I arrived I thought the rooms were overly basic with only a single bed (albeit immaculately clean) but this was outwayed by the warmth and welcome of the staff, who I assume were the owners. Delicious and faultless dinner by a lovely and attentive lady who brought my a blanket to put around my shoulders as I ate outside. Pretty afternoon tea style breakfast that was absolutely delightful. If you want a corporate hotel this is probably not for you but it you want charm, I would recommend. I would've like to have explored the area but didn't get chance but the view is picture box.
