Small but very cosy camping! Most of the lots were very spacious and each had their own water supply and electrical connectivity. The owners were super friendly, and very welcoming towards dogs as well! The attached restaurant Janneman had the best ribs I'd had in years. The sanitary building was clean throughout the day. Nothing too fancy, but not outdated. Next to the sanitary building though, was a covered area with seating and DIY lounges which were super chill. There were other services as well, like cutlery, microwace, refrigerator and water boiler. You might have noticed that there is a railway not too far off, but in all honesty, I slept in a tent and it never once bothered me. It's not loud at all.
A very quiet and beautiful campsite. The service is excellent. We arrived after reception opened, and they waited for us. We spent three lovely nights there. The surrounding area is perfect for a walk with the dog. Thank you, we had a lovely time.
We were forced to come to camping De Zwiese in Hardenberg because a seriously ill (sister-in-law) was staying there. We wanted to be close by and that was possible by booking a spot with Jan and Herma, the managers of the camping. We did not know the camping and would have accepted a lot, but were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful spacious pitches with privacy. Lots of greenery around us and a magnificent view ensured that we had a fantastic spot for 3 weeks. The (disabled) sanitary facilities looked great and very clean. Jan walks around the camping every day to hear how the guests are doing. Herma can mainly be found in the reception or the restaurant where you can eat deliciously for a reasonable price. Despite everything, we really enjoyed our stay at De Zwiese. From the camping you can take a ferry to the countryside towards Drenthe or further into Salland. Many nice places (Gramsbergen, for example) and a wide choice of museums. By chance we ended up with Jan and Herma, but it could not have turned out better than with these people with their big heart for their guests. Many thanks for everything, Jan and Herma. Thanks to you and the beautiful campsite, the difficult time has become an unforgettable time. Lots of love from Oisterwijk from Jos and Mia Braakhuis.
