Landhotel Bohrerhof

We had a great stay! The rooms were spacious, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was also very good. The only thing we found a bit less suitable was the restaurant, which felt quite traditional. As we were traveling with small children and are used to very kid-friendly restaurants and hotels in the Netherlands, we may be a bit spoiled in that regard. For the future, adding a small play area for kids could be a great idea, it would allow parents to enjoy breakfast in a bit more peace.

It was a wonderful experience. Very modern and spacious rooms. The bathroom is especially comfortable with an outstanding rainfall shower. The breakfast is also very very good. WiFi works very well , the staff are friendly and there’s plenty of parking space.

A Disappointing Experience: Lack of Flexibility During Unforeseen Circumstances I've encountered my fair share of challenges on the road, and usually, establishments rise to the occasion. Unfortunately, my recent experience with landhotelbohrerhof was a significant letdown, particularly given the extenuating circumstances. We had a reservation for July. As many are aware, an unforeseen conflict erupted in the region, leading to widespread airspace closures. This was, of course, entirely beyond our control. We promptly reached out to landhotelbohrerhof to request a simple date change for our stay. We weren't asking for a refund – a detail I want to emphasize, as we understood the terms of our non-refundable booking. Our hope was for a gesture of goodwill and understanding, especially considering the extraordinary situation. Regrettably, our request was flat-out denied. While legally, our non-refundable booking meant our rights weren't violated, it was the lack of empathy and flexibility that truly surprised me. We had reservations at three different establishments for this trip, and landhotel bohrerhof was the only one that refused to accommodate a date transfer. This stark contrast highlights a significant missed opportunity for them to demonstrate customer care during a global crisis. In an industry built on hospitality, a little understanding goes a long way, particularly when guests face unpreventable disruptions. Future travelers should be aware of this policy when considering their bookings, especially if there's any potential for unforeseen circumstances impacting their travel plans.
