The Landhotel Hauer is set in a quaint village made up of wineries and surrounded by vineyards. The rooms are generously sized and well-appointed. A beautiful wellness area encompasses different saunas, a jacuzzi, fitness, massage and relaxation rooms. A rich breakfast buffet and a delicious four-course dinner are on offer. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The Palatinate Forest invites exploration on foot. It is a perfect place for forest therapy, as much of the area is a nature reserve. The old village of Bad Bergzabern can be reached by a 25 min walk and is worth visiting.
Nice food at reasonable € prices and very friendly and helpful staff in a very quaint, green setting (& good English spoken!). Also one of the few restaurants open (albeit after 17:00) in this place in August.
