Just returned from the most wonderful stay at Langdale Chase Hotel in the Lake District and I’m already dreaming of going back. 🌿✨ From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning location right on Lake Windermere — the views from our room were absolutely breathtaking. The hotel itself has that perfect country retreat vibe: cozy, chic, and effortlessly classy. The grounds were beautifully kept, the food was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive throughout our stay. Our room felt like a peaceful escape — stylish yet comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully designed. Our stay at Langdale Chase has been phenomenal. From being greeted on arrival to checking in and enjoying all that the hotel has to offer, it has been wonderful. On arrival we had booked a trip on the boat to take us around Windermere. Our hosts on the boat Rob and Pete were amazing. Knowledgeable, kind and fun. We had pre ordered some champagne which we enjoyed on board whilst learning more about our surroundings. My husband had been unwell on the journey up and everyone we met was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble at all. We felt like VIPs for our whole stay. The food was delicious, so much care and attention was paid to flavour and quality of food. We couldn't fault it at all. Staff were all knowledgeable and courteous, we had lots of support from the Customer Relations Manager and reception who were all amazing. The grounds were spectacular with uninterrupted lake views and manicured grounds, it was very beautiful and relaxing. Would recommend for a special indulgent break in a location of high beauty. It was easy to get to other parts of the lake district too. We don't want it to be over!
Truly the most amazing location! So welcoming from the moment you come through their gates. It is worth a visit for the food alone, but then there is so much more too! The weather was rather dramatic when we stayed, but this is the sort of place that looks stunning come rain or shine. A very hard place to leave…
