Great location. A lot of option from the menu in the bistro, I had a pumpkin soup, with gnocchi. The gnocchi was definitely a bit heavy with a massive portion size. My partner got a porterhouse stake which was unfortunately overdone, verging on burnt. We also got an extra charge for a starter which we didn’t ask for but this was easily fixed with a cash refund. The bar staff were great and we enjoyed playing pool in the evening.

We did not stay overnight, but had a late lunch here which turned into an evening meal really. I had the steak sandwich and chips in my partner had tropical parmigiana with vegetables. We also had two drinks between us We really enjoyed ourselves outside in the beautiful sunshine with our dog, it was really lovely and enjoyable experience. The food was nice and tasty and fresh and the customer service was friendly and nice and we had no issues. If you are after a good pub fair that taste delicious and you feel satisfied with afterwards then this is the place for you, would go again.

Extensive pub bistro menu with high quality meals that were served quickly. Had a few deserts as well that were traditional pub (sticky date, apple crumble etc) which were a nice end to dinner. Clean and neat.
