Langham Place Ningbo

2025 an update here and this time i'd like to include photos of the food that i had in Ming Court, its enclosed chinese restaurant. high quality, good food on my every visit! 2024 i always love staying in langham - great service and room. it's my second or third time staying in this cultural plaza langham in ningbo. everything was as good as it should be. breakfast was fine too. i saw Durian crisp at the pastry bar and think it's a bit terrible, sorry i'm not a durian lover. i hoped to try the lobby lounge and its cocktail unfortunately my work ended so late every night that i don't have a chance to. but i'll come back for sure. staff here is friendly and helpful.

Ive stayed many different places in Ningbo over the years and Langham has been my go to for the last 3 years. Rooms are great, restaurant is a good mix of eastern and western food and the wifi has always been great. I stay here and i bring my customers when they visit. This is located in the new downtown and there is a ton of things to do and see in walking distance.

Very mixed review. I actually liked this place a lot. Coming from the Langham Shenzhen it wasn’t as nice at all, but I actually liked the room and shape of the room a lot. The view was great. The staff were great and spoke English. The housekeeping even left me a cute note. The things I didn’t like: 1) location was not good at all. I think it’s near a convention hall. So if you’re there for that it’s great, but if you want to be downtown it’s far. 2) the breakfast ends at 10 am. Which is ridiculous. The breakfast was also horrible. One of the worst breakfasts I’ve had in China this trip. Especially since the Shenzhen location was a 10/10 on breakfast this was a super let down in Ningbo. 3) the rooms wood felt a little ‘used’ but aside from that I had a liked the room. 4) the desk chair was too low and there was no way too adjust it. Overall I liked the hotel and would recommend it. I probably wouldn’t go back because I like to be downtown. But for the value it was great! The bed was just ok - but better than the Shenzhen beds. I personally like soft beds.
