L'Angolo Cortese

Location is within walking distance to the metro to have access to downtown Rome. The neighborhood seems safe. The service was basic for what you'd expect from an Airbnb style stay. The instructions to get in are a bit confusing but the host is a good at communicating with you and helping you navigate accessing your room.

I loved the friendly and helpful staff who were outstanding, that with the small b&b made us feel like special invited guests. We'll definitely return if given the chance! The AC in the room was a lifesaver for us pale scandinavians who nearly died from the heat outside.. Comfortable beds and pillows, clean room and a tiny refrigerator (also a lifesaver). There were several places to eat around the b&b, and the owner gladly gave us a map with instructions on where to eat nearby, which was very nice. 10 min to metro and 20 min to mall. Overall it was perfect, except some minor details. We would have preferred a more nutritional breakfast (though we've discovered that most italians don't eat much breakfast). Some glasses in the bathroom/room would have been nice.

We stayed here for a couple nights. The room we got was great with a private bathroom, queen size bed, mini (literally mini) fridge, tv and AC. My only complaint was when the maid came into our room in the morning. We tried to explain we were still in bed when she opened the door on us. It felt very intrusive. Other than that the staff was friendly and the location is great!! Right next to stores to get your morning coffee and breakfast and only 5 minutes away from Laurentina station (by foot).
