Langshott Manor

We went to Langshott Manor for a cream tea for my mother's 93rd birthday. Our party also included a soon to be 5 year old girl. The whole experience was wonderful. The hotel itself is lovely and very interesting. The staff could not have been more attentive and the was food excellent. In fact as far as the youngest was concerned, the chef knocked it out of the park. We all had a really lovely time, especially the birthday girl and would like to say thank to Rebecca, Cicil and the Chef for making it such a special occasion.

Stayed for 1 night before flying on holiday from Gatwick - had a great experience, and location just 10 minutes from the airport was very convenient. Room was spacious & clean with a very comfortable bed & large bathroom. Dinner was a highlight - perfectly cooked steak & everything we had was delicious without being overly pretentious. Would definitely stay again. Only minor downside was there was an adjoining room & could hear guests talking in the next room through the door but wasn’t a huge issue.

Very disappointed overall. Firstly though, I must commend front of house Amy , who was an absolute credit to the place. Smiley, helpful and went over and above at all times. Unfortunately the rest of staff let the side down. Guess this comes from.a complacent manager who wandered around turning a blind eye to afternoon tea plates left outside from day before and dinner plates and glasses from the night before. If no one is 'managing' then its no surprise staff were so slow. Drinks were fetched out without being on a tray, dirty plates ignored and dirty ashtray outside on dirty table full of bird muck. Housekeeping not great....fake plants on restaurant tables so full of dust we had to remove it from table. Grounds are very small and website deceiving. Bar area was tiny and very depressing looking. Two nearest pubs weren't up to much, so if you plan a one night airport stay and get a cheap deal, its ok. Definitely not wedding venue or luxury break material.
