Lanteglos Country House Hotel

A really lovely hidden little gem. Set in beautiful grounds and location. My friend and I enjoyed our stay here. We had a twin room. The room was nicely decorated, a bit dated but suited the large airy high ceiling room. Immaculately clean, beds were so comfortable and bedding so fresh and of good quality. The room looked over the back with views of the pool. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Elaine on reception was great at advising were the best weather was from her web cam! The chap in the bar (sorry forgot name) so friendly, helpful and chatty. The breakfasts were so delicious and a great range of choice. Really set you up for the day! The breakfast room was lovely sitting by the long windows overlooking the rear of the property. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed at hotel last year while we were on a Roads Scholar trip in England. We spent about a week at the hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean and roomy. All the grounds were in great shape and well kept. Our group ate breakfasts and supper at the hotel and every single meal was outstanding, especially the breakfasts which were designed to keep you from needing anything until supper! The bar was adequately stocked and staffed, usually, by the owner himself. We were close to all the hiking outings that our group completely but if you were there for golf, it appeared courses were close by. I would go back in a minute and hope to live through this pandemic to get the chance to return to the hotel, the area and England.

We stayed in the villas which were great, but was very surprised when we arrived to find the hotel shut! However you can still use the pool and badminton courts, and our little villa was beautifully clean, and though basic, met our needs perfectly.
