Great service, good food, the staff were nice and polite. No AC in our room and no window = 30 degrees when we got to our room in the evening. (only a terrace door to a shared area to we obviously couldn't keep the door open while away.) Also no vending machine to buy snacks and soft drinks in the late evening. (Everything closes at 10PM)
Don't be fooled! You are paying for luxury but you recieve mediocrity (at best). The rates that this place charges is completely disproportionate to what is offered in terms of quality. This place is way over priced and since they are not ashamed of taking people's money, this can only be regarded as false advertising. We paid close to 7000 SEK (over 600 EUR) for: - Hostel level room standard with no isolation. - Moldy odour and no real shower (only a hose) in bathroom. - Not proper cleaning in private quarter and the rest of the hotel / spa. - Restaurant serves the kind of food where you can taste that several components are processed. Leaking roof. - Spa, which is marketed as luxury, (would not even want to call it that) can only be described as when you order a spa on Wish. Needs maintenance. Visible pipes, some leaking. Broken lockers. Dirty outside pool. Gas-powered fire places. No luxury spa products, budget products. Slippery, wet floors. Simply not luxury, but budget at best. What was supposed to be a fun family weekened turned into a horrible experience where the last straw was that our small children could not sleep because of the noise level from the restaurant and the uninsulated rooms. We decided to put our exhaused kids in the car and leave. After complaining about our experience and demaning compensation, the owner decides to reply in an unfriendly manner, showing no sympathy what so ever for our experience as guests. Instead, she tries her best to talk us down. Clearly, this person should not be running any business related to service and children and I would advise anyone considering staying here to spend your money somewhere else. Places like this needs to be out of business so that they can't trick people's hard earned money out of their pockets with false advertising.
Unfortunately we stayed 2 nights here hoping to have a nice time to relax on the spa and playing with the farm animals. The ventilation of our room was not very good, and the pillows and sheets were smelly, some of them even had a strong dog smell on it. Also we were told it was not possible to move the beds to adjust so that our daughter would not follow on the floor, and later on we figured out it was actually possible to do that, unfortunately on the last day and it meant that I had to spend the night adjusting my daughter and catching her from the floor and did not sleep. Unfortunately our daughter was attacked by a pig from the farm where there was a sign saying welcome in just come in and play and she got a little bite (but pigs bites with blood are extremely dangerous because of the bacterias) and we had to spend our main day at the hospital emergency, pharmacies and using the time sooth her and adapt her to the medication she had to take for a week. No one from the staff or management came to us to say sorry for the happening, instead they made a point saying that they were not there to se what really happened with the pig and therefore could not say a thing. They did borrow us their phones to call to the medical line and provided us some first aid material after our request, but non seamed to really care or at least pretend it. We were never able to enjoy the spa because of the pig bite but also the night we arrived I was interested in using it and the 2 ladies I had contact with kept saying oh it is better tomorrow, or another day...they did not seam interested in listening to our real needs and we felt they were just wanting to get rid of us...there were lots of options at the breakfast, but no fruits at all and the plant-based milk looked quit old. When I was with my daughter at the farm shop waiting to see the kittens I asked for some regular water to buy, they did not have regular water for selling but did offer it for guests that are not staying at the hotel and pay for coming in to see the animals only. The girl on the counter made feel like I was a begging for water and that she would give me only this time as the water was not destined to the hotel guests ( what?) and by the way it was a water offered free for the other "paying" guests as if we had not payed any money to stay in this place. Not to mention that they serve food in a place that has literally animal fezes remaining on the corners/walls. The place is actually amazing, but the lack of cleaning and kindness and willingness we have encountered was very unpleasant.
