Lanting Fashionable Hotel

An older hotel tgat is looking a little tired. Very large comfortable bed in a reasonable size room. Stayed as part of package holiday & check in was simple. Only 2 normal lifts servicing hotel so can be slow. Room was OK but bathroom small & shower cubicle leaked. Bar & restaurant on Level 1 with reception. Indoor pool (nice temp but chlorinated & more of a training pool than resort) & gym on 2. Food for breakfast was average at best - least from 4 we have stayed at so far. Think area is OK - ATM 100m away, night market & lots of shops/restaurants a flat 15min walk away, & other restaurants closer walk as well.

The ladies at the front desk knew I was a foreigner and they had area where you could pick up snacks and pay for it in reception. The two girls are reception was trying to charger us more then what they were. It was a bottle of water and Oreos the water says free but was trying to charge us $10 for it and laughing with her coworker . I told her it’s free and quickly said okay sorry. Very unprofessional staff.

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was dirty with old marked and dirty walls and furniture.The carpet was very dirty with large black and stained areas. The bathroom was mouldy. Breakfast was very poorly prepared with greasy food and limited choice. The hotel overall looks worn out and not maintained for 10 to 20 years. Our total tour group was complaining and disappointed with the hotel.
