Lanyang Geology Hot Spring Resort

Room without much of a view, but with balcony and great bath: $2,000/night. Hot spring water is excellent! It makes the skin smooth, soft and radiant! This hotel is well worth the price... you won't regret staying here!

I had high expectations when I booked the hotel. Unfortunately I was greeted by a fishy scent all the way up to the hotel room. The room was clean though musky and the hot tub was big. But you continue to get that fishy whiff so do leave that window open. Oh, one more thing, you need the Line Chat app to check-in.

It's a rather run down place with poor sound proofing and poor WiFi connection (in fact we had none and they made us aware of the poor connection in our part of the hotel). They have a lounge with massage chairs and a fish spa but neither of them looked very well maintained. No lift to our rooms so we had to carry our 15kg suitcases up two flights of stairs. Staff were friendly, breakfast was pretty average. No privacy toilets / bathrooms in your room. Head rest on the head board is dirty and mouldy.
