The Lanzhou Legend Hotel is located right next to the Lanzhou University main campus. It is an older hotel with a nice atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with western and Chinese food and a good coffee machine! There is also a health club for a small extra charge with sauna, steam room, bubble baths and relax room with free snacks. Great place to stay when in Lanzhou.
Beautiful hotel from inside. Every basic need is present in room. Nice room service. You can order any thing from reception by just calling them. I enjoyed living here. Even the backside view is good.
Staff is great! However be prepared, the floors smell everywhere like smoke (they still smoke in the hotel and in the rooms). The bathrooms are never really 'clean', the wardrobes smell like mothballs.
