The location of the hotel is very convenient and the hot water comes out well , but the facilities are a bit old and need to be renovated. The coffee and rice noodles served at the breakfast restaurant tasted really good, but there was a lack of animal protein. It would be better to offer healthy whole wheat bread and meat rather than cheese and butter as most of the Asians are lactose intolerant.

For a 5 star hotel in a Capital city, the staff spoke very little English. Introduction of the hotel was not given. Was told the location of the breakfast resturant but was not told that my room didn’t include breakfast. Only found out when I went down the next morning and they wanted to charge me breakfast for 2 even thought it was only me. And all was conversed in sign and calculator language. There was also a planned electrical shutdown on the 2nd day of my stay. However, there was no initiative to inform and explain the impact of the electrical shutdown, prior to or during check-in. Luckily I chance upon the signboard by the lift and ask the receptionist so I wasn’t caught totally off guard. Toilet was a little small but clean, Room was pretty comfortable overall. Whole experience was average at best.

Upon arrival at the front desk, the receptionist informed me that my reservation was for a single bed and had been changed to a twin bed. However, upon checking my reservation confirmation email, it clearly indicated a twin bed, and the paper held by the receptionist also showed a twin bed. Despite this discrepancy, there was no apology offered. I requested a late checkout and was told that they would call back after confirming. However, after waiting for an hour without any contact, I called back myself and was informed that there was no issue with the late checkout. Is it normal for such a process to take this long? Regarding the sauna, I headed there around 8:10 PM, knowing that the operating hours were until 9 PM. Unfortunately, the power had already been turned off, and despite searching the floor for staff, none were to be found, resulting in my inability to use the facility. This was quite disappointing considering the accommodation fee, as I was unable to avail myself of the services. Additionally, the room had a very unpleasant odor emanating from the floor. The bed light could not be turned off, highlighting the outdated nature of the facilities. Interestingly, the bed light on the other bed could be turned off. Breakfast is the best in Vientiane city.
