Lapazul

Lapazul is an absolute gem—easily one of the most memorable places I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. The views are simply breathtaking, perched high in the jungle with the ocean in the distance, and the chance to spot local wildlife adds to the magic. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and have everything you need to truly relax. But what really sets Lapazul apart is the top-notch hospitality. The warmth and attention to detail from the staff is among the best I’ve ever experienced—genuine, personal, and truly caring. Special mention to Mr. Jorge, whose first-class service and warm presence made us feel incredibly welcome. He is, without a doubt, one of the best hosts I’ve ever encountered at any hotel in the world. And the food? Outstanding. Every dish is full of flavor and heart, far surpassing the local restaurants in town. The menu is focused and perfectly executed, with ingredients that shine. You can taste the passion in every bite. If you’re looking to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature and comfort, this is the place. Plus, it’s just a short drive down to the beach at Dominical. I can’t recommend it enough.

Lapzul Hotel in Costa Rica is a breathtaking escape that blends natural beauty with truly exceptional service, creating an experience my son and I will never forget. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings—lush greenery, beautiful architecture, and a sense of calm that instantly put us at ease. The hotel itself is elegant and thoughtfully designed, but what really made our stay special was the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was warm and attentive, with Monica and Estabon standing out for their consistent kindness and professionalism. But above all, Jorge truly made our stay unforgettable. His genuine care, friendly demeanor, and attentiveness went far beyond what we expected. Whether helping with recommendations, chatting with my son, or simply checking in on how our day was going, Jorge made us feel like family—he was the heart of our experience at Lapzul. Our room was spacious and beautifully kept, with a balcony view that added to the relaxing vibe. We enjoyed delicious meals—especially the fresh breakfasts with tropical fruits—and took full advantage of the serene pool and spa area. My son and I both felt completely at home, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and truly welcoming getaway, Lapzul is the perfect place. We’ll definitely be returning.

The most amazing and relaxing hotel ever!! We spent 5 nights here and loved every minute of it! Yoga, massages, cooking class, Spanish practice, Luna, Lola, the sloth, macaws, views, etc. The staff are phenomenal! Shout out to Monica and Jorge! So peaceful and beautiful! 10/10 would recommend and will stay again 😊
